This hybrid offering allows you to dive into yogic and ayurvedic studies to deepen your own personal practice throughout the summer at a beautiful venue in the Mancos Valley. The first 4 weekends will focus on personal development through the study and practice of yoga and ayurveda and comprise the Yoga and Ayurveda Immersion. Continue with us for 3 additional weekends to complete your 200 Hour Prana Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training.

 AYURVEDA

  • Learn to honor and balance your unique mind-body dosha, or constitution, through the study the wisdom of Ayurveda- Yoga’s sister science and India’s ancient and holistic health system

  • Study Ayurvedic theory including study of the doshas, agni, ama, ojas, diet, herbs, and dinacharya

  • Practice the art of seasonal cleansing to remove toxins and give your body and mind a fresh start with Jackie Just

  • Cultivate dinacharya: ayurvedic morning and evening routines

  • Integrate and apply the practical tools from Ayurveda that support holistic living in a way that is accessible and applicable to your personal life rhythm

This 200 hour Prana Vinyasa™ Yoga Teacher Training is recognized by Yoga Alliance. It is offered through Shiva Rea’s Samudra Global School of Living Yoga Affiliate Network.


Developed by Visionary Yogini Shiva Rea, Prana Vinyasa® is a dynamic and creative yoga path that weaves together the great eastern teachings of Yoga, Tantra, Bhakti, Ayurveda, and Buddhist philosophy with the evolution of modern somatic practices.

Commitment when applying for the 200 Hour Teacher Training:

This training is a significant commitment to pursuing learning and embodiment through time in class and outside of it. Students should do their best to attend each session except in the case of illness or significant family commitment. Missing up to one weekend is acceptable and make up assignments will be given.

Homework assignments including daily yoga practice plus reading and written assignments averaging 3-5 hours per week are also required.

The Yoga and Ayurveda Immersion takes place on the following weekends: July 12-14, July 26-28, August 8-11, September 13-15

PLUS: 5 online sessions (1.5hr each, dates TBD) with Alignment teacher Michelle Nayeli Bouvier

The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training includes those weekends as well as the following: September 27-29, October 11-13, October 25-27

Times: Friday 5-8, Saturday 9-6, Sunday 9-4 with lunch breaks on Saturday and Sunday

This immersion was everything I had hoped for. During the immersion I learned a lot about myself.
