Standing Balance Asanas

Standing balance asanas are challenging poses that both require and cultivate focus. I would practice these in the earlier part of the day, not in the evening, and not if you are feeling ill or exhausted. Add these into to your sadhana after you are warmed up and are feeling the flow! I recommend placing them just after your warrior and core poses. Remember the mountain visual for sequencing your yoga practice from Module 1? These would be found right around the peak of your practice. Balance them afterwards with some stretches for your hips, legs, and back.
