Ganesh Mantra

You may be familiar with Ganesh (aka Ganesha) already, the elephant headed, friendly, rotund, 4 armed deity who rides a mouse and loves sweets and is very popular these days in global culture. You see Ganesh images on all sorts of items from pants to cell phone cases. There are loads of stories about Ganesh; one I enjoy is about his strong Goddess mother Parvati and how he came to be, which is told well here.
